MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Two well-known Mid-South attorneys have been hired by the father of accused murder suspect Brandon Theesfeld.
Tony Farese told Local 24 News Thursday morning, he and Steve Farese met with Theesfeld’s father, Daniel, Wednesday afternoon. He says they plan to enter a not guilty plea.
Also according to Farese, a bond hearing will not be held for Theesfeld until they have had a chance to look over the case.
Steve and Tony Farese will co-counsel with Swayze Alford.
22-year-old Ole Miss student Brandon Theesfeld is charged with killing 21-year-old Ally Kostial, who was also an Ole Miss student.
It’s been five days since the body of 21-year-old Kostial was found near Sardis Lake in Mississippi.
Wednesday, Oxford police released video of Ally Kostial the night before she was found dead. The video shows Kostial leaving Funky’s Bar on the Oxford Square, then getting into an Uber.
A preliminary autopsy report confirmed she died from multiple gunshot wounds.
A vigil is planned to honor Kostial Thursday evening at her high school in St. Louis.
Local 24 News has found that Theesfeld’s Twitter and Facebook accounts have both been deactivated.
Funeral arrangements are set for Ally Kostial. According to St. Louis Cremation, visitation will be held Friday, July 26 at Concordia Kirkwood Lutheran Church from 4-8 p.m. The funeral will be held Saturday, July 27 at 10 a.m.
