MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Arlington Middle and Bartlett 9th Grade Academy have both won Apple Distinguished Schools titles for their use of innovative technology.
The two schools are among the fewer than 500 in 34 countries to receive the designation this year.
To qualify, schools must have one tablet or computer for every student for three years. They must also be able to show how they are using the technology.
Arlington Middle provides all students in grades 5 through 12 with their own iPad. Bartlett gives students in grades 6 through 12 a MacBook Air to take home.
