Millington Municipal Schools announces new principal for Millington Central High School

MILLINGTON, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Millington Municipal Schools has announced a new principal for Millington Central High School.

Mark Neal who was previously principal at Melrose High School with Shelby County Schools, will take over as of July 1st.

Millington Municipal Schools News Release:

After much deliberation and thoughtful consideration, Millington Municipal Schools has chosen Mr. Mark Neal as the next Principal of Millington Central High School. Mr. Mark Neal will pick up the Trojan torch passed on by Dr. Donald Durley. This torch will illuminate the path of the MCHS Trojans to a new Elysium of prosperity. Mr. Mark Neal comes back to us from Melrose High School in which he was part of a team that helped the school grow to new heights. Mr. Neal is a native of Tipton County and a graduate of UT Martin. He began his professional career in August of 2000 at MCHS spending eight years as a teacher, three years as an assistant Principal and eventually moving to the position of Principal of MCHS. Mr. Neal has spent the last five years as Principal of Melrose High School.

Mr. Mark Neal accepted the job of Principal of MCHS Friday, June, 7th 2019 and will begin leadership July 1st. Millington Municipal Schools warmly welcomes him and looks forward to a great tenure and time of growth for Mr. Neal as he comes back home to MCHS.
