Here is a look at our forecast. Storms in Arkansas will be moving toward the Mid-South this evening. Some of the cells could be strong to severe but should be moving into a weaker air mass as they approach the Mississippi River.
Regardless our Western counties are under a slight risk for severe weather which would be mainly before midnight as far as severe threats are concerned.
Going forward hot and humid weather will dominate the weather headlines through the weekend. Highs will be around or above 90 beginning Wednesday with lows near 70 each night. This will be an unusual stretch of heat and humidity for late May.
