Below is the letter sent to Chairman’s Circle members:
Chairman’s Circle Members,
This letter is to inform you of my resignation from The Greater Memphis Chamber as Senior Vice President of the Chairman’s Circle, to explore new opportunities. I will be in the office until Monday June 10, 2019 to ensure a smooth transition for you and the Chamber team.
Words truly cannot express how much I have enjoyed the friendships and relationships that I was able to build and nurture over the last year here at the Chamber. The Chairman’s Circle members are a group that I was honored to work with, learn from, and lead. Your selflessness, humility, and leadership means so much to our city and I am grateful to have spent time with each one of the 130+ Chairman’s Circle members and their teams. The trust you placed in me while I was in my leadership role is something I did not take lightly, and I am grateful for the experience.
Lastly, I am excited to see what the strong leadership group in place at the Chamber accomplishes under Beverly Robertson’s leadership. Our city is on the brink of going to the next level and I can’t wait to see what we all accomplish when we work together over our city’s next 100 years and beyond.
Memphis’ best times are right in front of us and I know that our Chamber is in great hands. Please don’t hesitate to call me anytime and I thank each of you for all you have done for me and for our city.
All the best to you and yours,
