Carnival Memphis raises $400,000 for three local children’s charities

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Carnival Memphis held a check presentation Wednesday night after raising $400,000 for local children’s charities.

The money was raised for Carnival Memphis’ Children’s Charity Initiative, which helps groups that improve the quality of life for children in the Mid-South.

The group tells Local 24 News with matching funds, $400,000 was raised, which will benefit Porter-Leath, Neighborhood Christian Centers, and Palmer Home for Children.

Since Carnival Memphis started its Children’s Charity Initiative in 1999, more than $2.8 million with matching funds has been donated to local children’s charities.
