Nestle is taking the plant-based burger trend to new heights. The food and beverage company already met the impossible burger craze with its Sweet Earth Awesome Burger.
Now it’s raising the stakes with a plant-based bacon cheeseburger. Nestle announced its creation Wednesday, calling it the PB Triple Play.
The plant-based burger is already available to professional clients like restaurants and foodservice operators. The full package, including the vegan alternatives to cheese and bacon, will be available to those clients in 2020.
