MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – The attorneys representing the family of Ismael Lopez held a news conference Thursday on the city of Southaven’s response to a recent lawsuit.
Back in June, Lopez’ family filed a $20-million wrongful death lawsuit against the city of Southaven, the chief of Southaven Police, and the officers involved in Lopez’s death.
Lopez was killed in July 2017 in Southaven when officers served a warrant at the wrong home.
This is a developing story and we will have more on Local 24 News.
(We apologize for the technical glitch in the middle of the news conference. It does continue after a short moment.)
