MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- Thousands braved the heat Saturday for the 32nd annual Cooper Young Festival.
Organizers expected more than 130,000 guests to attend.
This year’s festival included musicians from across the country and of course food from restaurants in Memphis. Locals say it’s a great way to get out and enjoy the community.
“Community involvement, everybody in the community comes together and haves a good time. That’s why we love coming out here,” said attendee, Chris Jarvis.
Cooper-Young is Memphis’ largest historic district and folks tell us they look forward to this festival every year.
