St. Jude kids and their families were in for an imaginative day Wednesday, all thanks to Best Buy.
The technology product retailer hosted an interactive event for families, in celebration of their customers donating millions of dollars to St. Jude.
Kids could make their own piano keyboard, play around with robots, mix their own musical tunes together, and go on a Google expedition to outer space or underwater.
“We are just so excited with this relationship and the way it continues to evolve year after year,” says Paula Baker, the human resource officer with Best Buy. “… And we hope to bring back more money and more contributions next year.”
A few years ago, Best Buy launched the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign in stores. Funds raised come from Best Buy customers who donate to St. Jude during the holiday season.
