ATF Offers Reward In Memphis Gun Store Robbery

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) along with the Memphis Police Department and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) are offering a reward for information on those responsible for the theft of guns from Pawn Plus, a federal firearm licensee (FFL).

On Thursday, July 12, Pawn Plus at 5851 Winchester Road was robbed by three armed men wearing masks.  Approximately 47 guns were reported stolen to MPD.

ATF is now in the process of doing an inventory to determine the exact number of stolen guns.

The suspects fired shots at an employee who was arriving for work.

The suspects were seen leaving Pawn Plus in a red Honda sedan with a possible Arkansas license plate.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1: 5’9 to 5’11”, slim build wearing all dark clothing with a hoodie and a mask covering the lower portion of his face and armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2: 5’11 to 6’0”, slim build wearing all dark clothing with a hoodie and a mask covering the lower portion of his face and armed with a handgun.

Suspect #3: 5’8 to 5’10”, slim build wearing all dark clothing with a hoodie and a mask covering the lower portion of his face and armed with an assault weapon.

ATF is offering a reward up to $5,000, which will be matched by the NSSF for a total reward of up to $10,000.
