BARTLETT, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- It was a day of sunshine and fresh food as hundreds came out for the weekly farmer’s market on Saturday.
The Bartlett Farmers Market at Freeman Park sold everything from vegetables, fresh flowers to elderberry syrup.
Health and wellness demonstrations were also set up for people to improve their bodies while making new friends.
“I think it’s important for all of us to get together and talk and understand, what’s going on in our neighborhood and in our community and if we know each other its even easier to do that,” said Christi Meeks of the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce.
The farmer’s market will return to Freeman Park every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon through September.
