Friday in midtown Memphis, Celtic Crossing is hosting its annual day-long St. Patrick’s Day celebration. This as Cooper-Young hosts its second annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
There will be live music all day, including traditional bagpipers and drummers, Leprechauns, and of course drink specials with green beer.
“I think it’s just the connection to the homeland and also to make people feel like there’s something to celebrate,” says general manager Christopher Darling. “We’ve had cold weather for a while now, let’s call it a kick off to spring!”
There will be a large tent outside the restaurant in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Live music will begin at 10:00 a.m. on the front patio, 11:00 a.m. inside the party tent, then 5:00 p.m. by the main bar.
A $15 cover charge begins at 2:00 p.m.
