A 23-year-old Cordova woman has been arrested for DUI after the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says she hit a marked Memphis police car early Wednesday morning.
Rosa Guzman is charged with DUI and failure to exercise due care. According to the affidavit, she was on Dexter about 3:00 a.m. when she struck a marked MPD car near Bridgewater Church Rd.
The deputy on the scene said Guzman had thrown up on herself, and when asked if she had been drinking, she responded she had “drank a lot.” They say she was unable to complete a field sobriety test, and a blood test was done. The results are not available.
No one was hurt during the incident. Bond has not been set and Guzman is due in court Thursday.
