Crosstown Concourse is getting people in the holiday spirit with its holiday lights and spreading a little holiday cheer for everyone.
Tuesday evening, families packed the Central Atrium of the Crosstown Concourse for its annual holiday lighting party. Families enjoyed holiday tunes by Jazz and R&B Band, Prime Cut, free hot chocolate, and cookies from Lucy J’s Bakery.
“About 8,000 feet of strands of lighting and about 7,500 light bulbs, so we had volunteers screwing in the light bulbs Friday and Saturday and installation happened on Sunday,” said Todd Richardson, Co-Leader of Crosstown Concourse Project.
“This is awesome. Definitely a kid-friendly event. And definitely adult-friendly with the hot chocolate. I’m loving it,” said Adrian Friday, who brought his son to see the lights.
It was the perfect family-friendly event to get folks in the Christmas spirit.
“Stuff to eat, stuff to buy, and stuff to see; you can’t get much better than that,” Richardson explained.
The lights will be on for the next month. Remember, we want to see your local cheer! You can email your holiday photos to firstname.lastname@example.org.
