Fans will be making their way to Graceland ahead of Tuesday night’s candlelight vigil honoring Elvis Presley. This year marks the 40th Anniversary of his death.
Organizers are inviting fans to walk up the driveway to Elvis’ gravesite and carry a candle back down the driveway on quiet remembrance.
The gates of Graceland will remain open until the early morning hours of the anniversary of his death, August 16th.
Before the vigil, people will visit the wall outside of Graceland to leave their signatures in tribute.
Some parents are also bringing their children to experience all things Elvis.
For fans, there’s a big change this year. There’s a $30 charge to receive a wristband to participate in the vigil.
