Express Drop Home-Opener To Hotshots

The Memphis Express let go of a double-digit fourth quarter lead, dropping their home-opener to the Arizona Hotshots 20-18 on Saturday night at the Liberty Bowl.

One week after getting shutout, the Express dominated for three quarters.

Hotshots quarterback John Wolford connected with Tim Cook on a four-yard touchdown pass with seven minutes to play to give Arizona the lead for good.

Running back Zac Stacy stood out for the Express. He ran for 101 yards and a touchdown.
