Husband Of One Of The Sisters Shot And Killed In Hickory Hill Now Charged With Murder

Memphis police have charged the husband of one of the sisters who were shot and killed in Hickory Hill Thursday with their murder.

George Earl Muhammad is charged with two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of his wife Kendall Brown and her sister Kayla.

Memphis Police were called to a home in 3800 block of Pathway Circle around 2:00 a.m. Thursday morning. Police tell us the shooting happened after an argument.

There were also five kids inside of the home, but they were not injured. 

Muhammad and Kendall Brown were married on April 25th, 2011. In January 2012, he was charged with domestic assault for repeatedly pushing Kendall to the ground and hitting her in the face. She was six months pregnant at the time. He was convicted and sentenced to one day in jail.
