One week ago, a Houston high school junior was crowned Miss Germantown’s Outstanding Teen.
It was Lydia Waldrop’s first time competing in a scholarship pageant.
Waldrop is a singer, songwriter, and newly-crowned Miss Germantown’s Outstanding Teen.
She’s committed to helping her community.
Waldrop hopes to get more volunteers, in tune with her platform, of helping children and benefiting Memphis Athletic Ministries.
2018 has been a whirlwind for her.
The final months of the year will be just as busy with more duties, appearances, and performances.
Especially with fair season weeks away.
In 2019, she’ll be getting ready to take the stage for Miss Tennessee’s Outstanding Teen.
“I’ll also be working on my interviewing, fitness skills,” said Waldrop. “Getting in shape, and preparing all around.”
