As the first day of school nears for many Mid-South kids, a local organization handed out free school supplies to students Saturday.
In addition to school supplies students received free health screenings at Camelot’s Back to School Bash.
The organization also held a ribbon cutting for their new building.
“We are very passionate about Memphis and Shelby County, and we love to serve those that are in need. We want to bring them in one area, so they don’t have to go all over the city. We want to, so we try to meet all the needs in house,” said Jennifer Predmere, Regional Director of Camelot.
Camelot has been providing foster, counseling and family services since 1972.
