Local 24 News previewed one of the 14 African American restaurants featured in Memphis Black Restaurant Week on Sunday.
The Four Way, located at Mississippi and Walker, opened their doors to show us their venue and menu for the week.
The goal of this week is to promote Memphis food, tourism and multicultural engagement.
“It’s excellent food and the atmosphere is awesome. I just enjoy coming here, fellowshipping, and enjoying the meal. It’s the best soul food restaurant in the country, if you ask me,” said loyal customer, Donald Dickerson.
Other participating restaurants include Sage, Chef Tam’s Underground Café, Slice of Soul Pizza Lounge and The Waffle Iron.
