MEMPHIS, Tenn. ( Memphis Police have arrested a man accused of shooting at an 18-wheeler on I-240 Friday night.

According to an affidavit, the driver was headed Northbound on I-240 near South Parkway, when he noticed someone in a white Tahoe was shooting at his vehicle.

Officers caught up with the Tahoe, just a few miles away from Elvis Presley and Alcy.

Police say the woman driving the vehicle complained that another vehicle cut her off on I-240.

Memphis Police then searched the Tahoe finding a semi-automatic handgun inside of a pink backpack. Investigators say the shell casings from the scene match the gun found inside of the truck.

Investigators say 19-year-old Zamario Jones admitted he was in the backseat of the Tahoe when he fired one shot at the 18-wheeler.

Police say he is also wanted for burglary and theft.

Jones is expected to see a judge Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.
