The Memphis Grizz line band welcomed fans for the season opener of its G league team and the excitement was felt across the Landers Center.

“My sweet little niece right here gave us some tickets and i didn’t know where i was coming but i got here and the band started welcoming us and we started marching,” said Ruthie Reid of Memphis.

“I think is it’s going to be fun just to kind of watch these players grow up and it will help develop the fan base for the Memphis Grizzlies like you can actually see these kids, young people develop and actually be Grizzlies stars,” said Ann Barton of Southaven.

The game sure did not disappoint, it also inspired young basketball players.

“It makes me feel like I’m one of the players like I want to be an NBA player,” said Jacob Mcafee a Memphis Hustle fan.

“Take advantage of this, this is a great opportunity for Memphis we need to take advantage of it we need to be thankful we have

It and we need to be here and support them,” said Art Davis, a Memphis Hustle Fan.
