MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - After one year with the Memphis Grizzlies, former Memphis Tiger Tyreke Evans is gone. He has reportedly agreed to a 1-year, $12 million deal to join the Indiana Pacers as a free agent.
In his one and only season with the Beale Street Bears, Evans averaged 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Grizzlies were set to trade him before the trade deadline, even sat him down and sent him home from a road trip, but that trade never happened.
So instead of getting something for Tyreke, they get nothing.
