MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Would you give the shirt off your back for the Memphis Tigers?
The Pink Palace Museum is looking for Memphis Tiger basketball t-shirts from the past 100 years. Selected shirts will be included a new exhibit called, “Tiger Hoops: 100 Years of Memphis Basketball,” which will be on display March 7 to October 4, 2020.
Bring your Memphis Tiger basketball t-shirts to the museum Sunday, July 28 from 12-4pm for Tiger Hoops Community Involvement Day. Everyone who brings a Memphis Tigers basketball t-shirt will receive a free general admission pass (one per person).
While not every shirt will be displayed in the exhibit, images of every t-shirt submitted will be posted on the museum’s website. T-shirts that do go on display will be considered on loan to the Pink Palace Museum from July 28, 2019 until October 9, 2020.
