The Memphis Tigers basketball team will make their only two scheduled appearances on free, over-the-air television during the upcoming LANDERS HOLIDAY HOOPS FEST.

The event is a two-game package scheduled to air on CW30, Memphis’ local sports station.

South Dakota St., a qualifier for the NCAA tournament last season will be the opponent on Tuesday December 4.  The game will be played in the FEDEX Forum and will tip-off at 8 pm.

The LANDERS HOLIDAY HOOPS FEST will conclude on Wednesday December 19 when Little Rock comes to Memphis.  Game time is 7 pm.

“We are as excited as the rest of the community about Tigers basketball,” says Joe Denk, VP-GM of CW30, WLMT TV.  “We look forward to the chance to make Penny Hardaway’s team available to as large a local TV audience as possible.”

CW30 will produce the games in a partnership with Tiger Sports Properties, a division of Learfield.

Dave Woloshin, the voice of the Tigers, will call the play-by-play.  He will be joined by former Tiger Jon Albright who will provide analysis.  Jessica Benson will be the sideline reporter.  Doc Holliday hosts pregame and halftime programming from the CW30 studio.
