Neil Whaley Wins Special Election Mississippi

 A special election was held Tuesday in Mississippi to fill the state senate seat district 10, vacated by Democrat bill stone.

Republican Neil Whaley won the seat. 

Stone represented Marshall and Tate Counties for the past nine years and resigned in July.

This special election was non-partisan, meaning the candidates ran on the same ballot without party identification.
