Victim Identified In Deadly Early Morning Crop Duster Crash In St. Francis County

ST. FRANCIS CO., Ark. (localmemphis.com) - The man who died after an early morning crop duster crash in St. Francis County, Arkansas, has been identified as 41-year-old Chad McLain. McLain was the fire chief with the Wheatley Volunteer Fire Department.

The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management tells Local 24 it received a call about 7:00 a.m. Wednesday about a crop duster down in a field off Highway 78 north of Wheatley.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and the investigation is underway.
