Local News

Memphis police are making a public plea for help in the search for the gunman who killed 2-year-old Laylah Washington.

In the one year since the toddler was shot in the head during a road rage incident, MPD says task forces were formed and countless leads were followed.

Video shows Laylah’s mother’s car turning left onto Kirby Parkway from Winchester and the suspect’s dark sedan following her on June 11, 2017.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
