MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Call it a labor of love. 

Major Marion Platt, Area Commander of the Salvation Army of Memphis and the Mid-South, rang a bell at a red donation kettle in front of an east Memphis grocery store for over 26 hours straight.
