Have you been holding onto your childhood G.I. Joes or Barbie or maybe Hot Wheels? Now could you chance to cash in.
The self-proclaimed “America’s Toy Scout” is in town and offering to buy your vintage toys. Joel Magee from Pawn Stars is hosting a vintage toy buying show this weekend at the Courtyard Marriott in southeast Memphis.
One man got $425 for his collection of metal toy tractors.
Magee explains his love for vintage toys.
“It brings back your childhood memories. And there’s everything, barbies, and hot wheels, and superheroes, and boats and cars. It doesn’t matter what it is,” says Magee. “We would love to see it because it really helps people go back to a time in life that was much happier and we all enjoy going there if we can.”
Wanted items include old and collectable toys and parts, actions figures, plus comic books and baseball cards.
It’s being held at the Courtyard Marriott on Kirby Parkway from 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day.
