Southaven Police Hunt For Gunman Who Shot Two Atmos Workers

Southaven Police are searching for the gunman who shot two Atmos workers who were working on some trenches. It happened just after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Tchulahoma and Central Trails Drive.

Investigators 4 or 5 workers were in the trenches, when they heard a loud pop. One of the workers felt a pain in his leg, and another worker who came to his aid felt pain in his arm.

Police say the two had been hit by small caliber bullets.

The worker who was shot in the leg was taken to Baptist DeSoto Hospital. The other was treated at the scene.

Police say the gunman was possibly in a dark blue newer model Nissan Altima or Maxima. It was dirty, with stock rims.
