Stabbing Caught On Camera: Search Underway For Suspect

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - Memphis Police are asking for help identifying a suspect caught on camera stabbing a man.

It happened June 6th at about 2:45 a.m. in the 3500 block of Lamar Avenue. Police say officers found a man who was disoriented, and he told them he had been stabbed, but was unsure where it happened. Investigators later found the crime scene at a store on Lamar Avenue and found attack had been recorded on the store’s surveillance cameras.

The video shows the suspect was getting gas with two other men when the victim approached them. Police say that’s when the suspect pulled out a knife, stabbing the victim several times. They then jumped in the car and took off.

The stabbing suspect was wearing a navy-blue ball cap, dark grey shirt, black shorts, and black shoes. He was with two other males in a newer model silver Infiniti.
