MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Construction plans for Tom Lee Park’s redesign have been pushed back.
It will not begin right after Memphis in May ends, instead moving to the fall. The change of dates will coincide with another facelift project at the city’s historic cobblestone landing.
Officials say this will help avoid a lot of disruption to traffic on Riverside Drive.
Mediations are still pending to determine what the redesign of Tom Lee Park will mean for Memphis in May for 2020 and beyond.
