A Memphis teenager involved in a series of crimes is also charged in the murder of a man in Downtown Memphis.
According to Memphis Police, 16-year-old Damerion Merriweather was accused of shooting and killing a man on J.W. Williams Lane on January 20th.
Merriweather was charged with first-degree murder.
Police say Merriweather is also connected to a crime spree in North Memphis involving four other teens as young as 14-years-old on Friday.
Memphis Police say the teens started with a violent carjacking of a 78-year-old man in his driveway Friday morning.
The teens then shot at a school bus near Manassas High School.
Shelby County School officials say there were no students aboard the bus at the time of the shooting.
Police later found the car the teens were in and two BB guns.
