Teens Indicted On Murder & Robbery Charges In 2016 Attack On Three Men

(SHELBY COUNTY D.A. NEWS RELEASE) - Two teens were indicted on first-degree murder and robbery charges Thursday stemming from a 2016 attack on three men in the Parkway Village area of southeast Memphis, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.

A grand jury indicted Miguel Bautista, 18, and Alex Flores, 17, on charges of first-degree murder in the perpetration of a robbery, two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and attempted especially aggravated robbery involving serious bodily injury.

Investigators said 30-year-old Christian “Chris” Rodriguez was shot multiple times and died in the incident on Oct. 29, 2016, in the 3300 block of Woodhollow Drive near South Goodlett and Winchester.
