Three auto burglary suspects caught in the act, may be responsible for up to 50 incidents

OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. (localmemphis.com) – Olive Branch Police have arrested three men who were wanted for a rash of auto burglaries.

According to OBPD, on April 18, approximately 4:15 a.m., officers were conducting patrols in subdivisions throughout the city due to multiple vehicle burglaries that have happened recently.

Officers noticed suspicious activity in the area of Stateline Rd and Hickory Dr involving an unoccupied vehicle parked in the area.  When officers approached the vehicle, three suspects ran south on Hickory Dr.

All three suspects were caught.  Officers then checked the area where they found several vehicles that had been burglarized.  Items that were taken from those vehicles were recovered.

21-year-old Javair Anderson and 23-year-old Frank Hawkins, both from Memphis and 20-year-old Joshua Randle from Olive Branch have all been charged in the case.

Anderson is being held on a $300,000 bond, Hawkins and Randle are both being held on a $250,000 bond.

This investigation is ongoing and may reveal that these men are responsible for up to fifty reported vehicle burglaries across Olive Branch.
