COVINGTON, Tenn. (localmemphis.com)- Two Tipton County corrections officers are facing charges after an investigation revealed they were involved in illegal drug activity.

According to a press release, 37-year-old Amanda Jones was arrested Friday. Investigators saw Jones getting narcotics during an illegal drug transaction.

Jones was off duty at the time of her arrest, and investigators say there wasn’t any evidence of her participating in drug activity while on the job.
