TN Highway Patrol Urge People To Not Drink And Drive During The Big Game Weekend

Local News

The Tennessee Highway Safety Office is urging people not to drink and drive home after the big game tonight.

Last year, there were 71 crashes and four deaths statewide related to alcohol-impaired driving during the NFL Championship Game weekend.

State troopers also removed 116 impaired drivers from state roadways during last year’s major football weekend.

The state’s highway patrol is increasing enforcement and conducting sobriety checkpoints, saturation patrols and high visibility.
