MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) - Tennessee lawmakers will vote to allow consumers to buy liquor and wine on Sundays.
The sponsor of the bill deferred a vote to iron out differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill.
The plan is to allow customers to buy wine and liquor on Sundays and holidays instead of just on weekdays and Saturdays.
The Tennessee Pastor’s Network is against the measure.
The bill is expected to come back up for a vote again Monday.
