Mid-South kids got up close to all sorts of heavy machinery during Saturday’s Touch a Truck.
The event at Mud Island River Park drew thousands of families.
They got a chance to play with all the bells and whistles on everything from fire trucks to school busses.
“The kids, they love to touch things they are not supposed to touch, so this is perfect they get the opportunity to do something they don’t normally get to do,” said parent Jennifer Spore.
Visitors also got to enjoy free monorail rides, a splash park, and face painting.
