MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Tropical Storm Barry is hundreds of miles from Memphis, but its impact already is being felt in the Bluff City.

Friday the Memphis Redbirds announced that the baseball game at AutoZone Park in downtown Memphis originally scheduled for Sunday, July 14, instead will be played Saturday, July 13, as part of a doubleheader.

The team said the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader will start at 4:05 p.m., and gates will open at 3:30. Both games are scheduled to be seven innings.

A ticket for Saturday’s game, July 13, is good for all of the day’s action at AutoZone Park.

The Redbirds also said that fans who had a ticket for Sunday’s game that is no longer being played may exchange it at the AutoZone Park box office for a ticket to another game during the 2019 regular season, including Saturday’s doubleheader.

Additionally, Sunday’s Prairie Farms Wiffle Bat giveaway is now rescheduled for Sunday, Aug. 4.
