Two children injured in overnight arson

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Fire officials say two children were injured after a house fire overnight.

It happened just after 12:00 a.m. Tuesday in the 3600 block of Barron Avenue. Investigators say it appears the fire was intentionally set in the den area. It took about 15 minutes to get it under control.

Two children in the home were taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital for cuts to their arms and fingers.

Damage is estimated at about $30,000.
