Local News

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Two adorable pups are looking for fur-ever homes after being rescued from the roof of a midtown house.

According to Memphis Animal Services, MAS assisted Memphis fire fighters to rescue the two dogs. The animals had apparently gotten to the roof through holes that had burned through it in a previous fire They could not find their way back inside the home. So firefighters were able to get to the roof and bring the dogs to safety.

The dogs are now kenneled together at Memphis Animal Services. Named Blaze and Hero, MAS says Blaze is quite shy, while Hero is outgoing and confident.
