WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (localmemphis.com) - West Memphis Police have arrested a mother who was wanted for second degree murder in the death of her 17-month old son. They say the boy ingested a lethal amount of crack cocaine.
Police said Wednesday morning they issued felony warrants for 34-year-old Kadasha Bedford. Investigators say the boy died after ingesting the crack at the Crown Inn on May 2nd.
Bedford also has warrants for three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor for the same incident.
Bedford was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after the warrants went out.
