Jason Motte first pitched for the Memphis Redbirds in 2008. He met his wife, Caitlin, here, and has lived in the Bluff City ever since. Motte is best known for making the final out for the Cardinals 2011 World Series Championship. He remains active in the Memphis community, through the Jason Motte Foundation and as the Director of Player Development. Local 24’s Clayton Collier discusses Motte’s love of Memphis as part of our “Why Memphis?” series.
