Woman charged with spray-painting “Nazi” on truck in parking lot of Raleigh Walmart

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Memphis Police have arrested a woman who they say admitted to spray-painting the word “Nazi” on the back of a truck at a Raleigh Walmart.

Heather Waddell is charged with vandalism of property $1000-$2500.

Police responded to the vandalism call May 13th in the Walmart parking lot at 3900 Austin Peay Highway. They found a truck with the word “Nazi” spray-painted on it. Repairs were estimated to be about $1800.

Police say they identified Waddell as a suspect May 16th, and she admitted to the vandalism under questioning. According to the affidavit, Waddell told police “I saw a truck with a couple of Pro Trump stickers,” and “The sticker carries its own weight in white supremacy. With a sign on a car that says it’s ‘Proud of Trump.’ These are the people that carry around automatic weapons.”

Waddell posted out of jail on $1000 bond. She is due in court May 31st.
