MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – This weekend, the City of Memphis will help residents get back in compliance with the law.
Restoration Saturday will be held for people who need help with expungements, drivers license and child support issues.
Information on a tuition-free education as well as help overcoming employment barriers will be made available.
D.A. Amy Weirich says this event is held to keep people from having to drive downtown.
“We do this with the hopes of helping people on a day off be able to come to one place and get questions answered, and get help. We may not be able to provide you with everything that you want. We can only help people that have Shelby County issues.”
Restoration Saturday will be Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Southland Mall in Whitehaven. Doors will close at 1:30 p.m.
