MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – The Grizzlies are showing local kids the skills it takes to get to NBA level greatness.

Monday, the team held two fall break youth basketball clinics at FedExForum. There was a session in the morning for girls and one in the afternoon for boys.

Players worked with the young athletes to help them develop their skills on the court to make them even better athletes.

“I learned how to dribble, I learned how to shoot, I learned how to move my feet quicker. I learned how to play defense. I learned how to get the rebound,” said Arriana, who took part in the clinic.

After learning how to play the game, participants were invited to watch a real NBA game as the Grizzlies take on the charlotte hornets Monday night.

The kids were also given tickets to the Grizzlies’ game against the Chicago Bulls on Friday, October 25th.
