James Wiseman’s college basketball career at the University of Memphis is officially over.
According to an ESPN report, Wiseman signed with Excel Sports which will represent the potential top pick in the 2020 NBA draft.
Wiseman was part of the number one-rated recruiting class this year. He was declared ineligible by the NCAA related to a payment head coach Penny Hardaway made to Wiseman’s mother years ago.
Wiseman would have been eligible to play Jan. 12. He ended up playing only 3 games for the Tigers, scoring a total of 59 points.
